About Me

Hi there! My name is Daniela Venturo Esaine. I'm a recent computer graphics, VR, and AR master's graduate from U-tad and a computer science bachelor's graduate from the University of Toronto, originally from Lima, Peru. From my earliest days in tech, I've been passionate about promoting diversity and inclusion. That's why I've volunteered with organizations like EllaCreacode and Laboratoria, non-profits focused on getting women in the tech and coding industry. My goal is to make technology more accessible. With such a diverse and evolving medium, I'm particularly interested in exploring the applications of technology in the health and therapy sectors. As a self-motivated programmer, I enjoy learning a variety of technologies and often find myself picking up new skills. My passion for entrepreneurship has also made me develop effective communication and leadership skills. It is my passion to utilize my technical knowledge to create a positive impact in this world.

Here are a few of my interests that I partake in during my extra time:

  • Learning how to play the drums

  • Learning Mandarin

  • Exploring the field of computer graphics and game design

  • Learning about the history of video games

  • Promoting a healthy work-life balance

  • Encouraging Women, LGBTQ+, and Latin American people to join the tech industry

  • Knitting, drawing, and watercolor painting
